Myrtle Beach Area Pet Friendly Dog Parks

Talk about being pet friendly! There are 4 well maintained dog parks in the Myrtle Beach area for dogs of all sizes. They are fenced and safe to let your dog off leash and socialize with other dogs. Water is available as well as bags for clean up. They are pretty evenly spread out along the Grand Strand so a location will be near your resort, but you will need to drive to get there. You are expected to have your dog under control and under your supervision at all times, and all the parks are well patrolled. If you want to let your dog enjoy good exercise by retrieving a ball or frisby or play with other dogs, the dog parks are the perfect place to visit. Benches are available for owners to relax and watch their dog have fun!

There are also places in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas that are great places to walk with your dog. Some are paved walkways and others, such as the state parks, have great nature trails to walk.

Whatever your preference - we've got it! Look at the list below and choose the right one for you.

Market Common

There are paved walkways around the lake at Market Common that is 1.2 miles long. It is a beautiful walk, and you will see others with dogs, runners, bikers and sightseers.
